Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How we collect your data

In some cases, the data is collected when you provide it to us. This is the case when you submit a newsletter contact form. Other, non-identifiable data can be collected when you browse the eFORT website. This can include IP addresses, geographic location (approximately), a record of how services and sites are used, and other data that cannot be used to identify the user.

The data is collected by using cookies and analytics, including third-party analysis service Google analytics. We use this information to analyse trends, manage the site, track the movements of users around the site and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. You can also object to this analysis. We will inform you below about how to exercise your right to object.

The newsletter subscription data is only used for communications of the eFORT project and it is not given to any third parties. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

You always have the right to obtain confirmation from eFORT and Smart Innovation Norway about whether your personal data are being processed.

You also have the right to:

– Request access to your personal data
– Request corrections, blocking or erasure

You can contact us and revoke your consent at any time about privacy and data protection using the address or email address above. An informal email is enough for this purpose.

You also have a right to file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities. If there has been a breach of data protection legislation, the person affected may file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities. The competent regulatory authority for matters related to data protection legislation is the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (DPA).

We collect this information in order to understand how our website is used and to improve its functionality and performance. This information is not used by us to identify individual users or to match it with other personal information on our system.

The server log files are kept for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. It is possible for us to retain and utilize anonymous, aggregated data derived from these logs indefinitely for statistical purposes.

Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding the collection and processing of server log data by our company.
